Can you mount a TV above my fireplace?
Usually yes. Brick and stone are fine; we use the right anchors for the material. What we'll flag is heat — some fireplaces get hot enough at the mantel that mounting above them isn't good for the TV, and we'll say so rather than take your money.
Do you supply the mount?
No, you supply it. Mounts vary a lot by TV and by how far you want it to sit off the wall, so it's better that you pick the one you want. We'll tell you what to look for if you ask.
Can you hide the cables in the wall?
Yes, with an in-wall rated kit, for $85. That covers the low-voltage cables. We don't run new electrical inside the wall — that's licensed electrician work.
Will it be anchored into studs?
Yes. We find the studs and anchor into them. If the layout means a stud isn't where the TV needs to go, we'll tell you what your options are before drilling anything.
